2009-10-07: MUNICIPAL JOURNALISM AND REPORTING COMPETITION WINNERS

IDASA has great pleasure in announcing the following reporters as the winners of the Municipal Journalism and Reporting Competition. The competition was open to all participating journalists in the Municipal Journalism Training Project funded by the Open Society Foundation and implemented in Amathole District, Eastern Cape and Eden District, Western Cape. The aim was to create incentives for journalists participating in the training and covering municipal issues. The winner received a prize of R2000 (equally split between the individual and their organisation)
